We’re Moving…

From Cleveland Street to Main Street

But not just to any new building. After almost 46 monumental years on Cleveland Street, the Greenville Chamber is returning to its downtown roots and ushering in a new decade on the 5th floor of Riverplace across from the Liberty Bridge. On Wednesday 20, 2019, we will be claiming the state-of-the-art Suite 550 on 550 S. Main Street as our new home!

“We are thrilled to integrate the chamber’s headquarters into Greenville’s core business district as we keep our vision future-focused,” says our President & CEO, Carlos Phillips. “This move positions the Chamber for success in many areas, particularly ensuring we are able to focus our resources on programs and initiatives that directly impact our investors.”

Please note that we may be tough to reach over the next two weeks

We appreciate your patience and support as we transition into our new space, and hope that you will celebrate this landmark move by joining us for tours showcasing Riverplace’s stunning views of Main Street and Falls Park from Thursday, January 23rd to Friday, January 24th, 3-5 p.m.

Where will we meet in the new space?

Our 9200 square foot office will host three sizable meeting rooms. Our featured meeting space, the Jewel Box, sponsored by Hubbell Lighting, will overlook a panoramic view of Main Street and Falls Park’s entrance and can host up to 24 people. A smaller conference room, holding 12, will be used for more intimate meetings, while a multifunctional room holding 2-4 people has been built to serve as an office or meeting room for Investors.  Guests will park in a garage conveniently located beneath Riverplace.

Why Main Street?

According to Chamber Board Chair Phillip Kilgore: “As we close this chapter on Cleveland Street, the facilities committee and entire Chamber team are confident the new location will advance our mission and vision, while providing a new, cutting-edge Chamber experience for the business community.”

We expect that our reclaimed location in the heart of downtown will reorient the Chamber within the successful Main Street business district it helped revitalize, making us even more accessible and connected to many of the businesses and future businesses we serve and represent. We look forward to meeting with you there!
