Patewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center had a huge turnout for their grand opening on March 11th. Among the hundreds of attendees were special guests Danny Ford and George Rogers. The Chamber was honored to help with the ribbon cutting that was followed by a tour of the state of the art facility. The celebration continued with delicious food, beverages and live music. Patewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is one of sixteen facilities owned by Covenant Dove in South Carolina, twelve of which are in the Upstate. The mission of Covenant Dove is "Serving the Needs of Our Communities, One Patient at a Time." Their goal is to be a resource to our community, providing short-term rehabilitation for a "short stay with long term success" in addition to providing a variety of skilled nursing services. Patewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is a 120 bed transitional care center that helps people restore strength, function and independence following illness, injury, surgery or a hospital stay. The person-centered care is delivered on short-term basis. Their vision calls for quality and outcome-focused post-acute care that meets individualized patient needs.
