Greenville Chamber President/CEO Ben Haskew Named 2015 South Carolina Chamber Executive of the Year

The Carolinas Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE) has recognized Greenville Chamber President/CEO Ben Haskew with their prestigious 2015 South Carolina Chamber Executive of the Year Award.

CACCE’s Executive of the Year Award recognizes long-term executives who have excelled over a period of years in leading and innovatively building their chamber. The award is based on the demonstration of excellence in areas of chamber leadership, organizational management, service to the profession, community reputation/involvement, and personal attributes.

Ben has served the chamber industry for over 40 years, and knows well the challenges and changes the business community faces. He has led the Chamber from a “fair-share” membership model to a “value-based” model giving members more options and opportunities. The Chamber has received a 4-star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and his strong fiscal management and organizational leadership has led the Chamber back to pre-recession numbers.

Greenville Chamber Board of Directors Chair Julie Brown notes, “Ben has provided tremendous leadership not only for Greenville, but also for Chamber executives throughout our state and country. This honor is the perfect crown on a career that has allowed him to set an example for others of collaboration, integrity, and vision.”
