Chamber Announces Two New Programs

Posted by: Megan Campbell on Tuesday, June 4, 2019

The Greenville Chamber recently announced two new programs, Ambassadors and PROPEL GVL.

At the Greenville Chamber, we consistently evolve to provide programming and resources Investors need most to grow their business. These two programs are just the latest in the Chamber's ongoing efforts to actively listen to the needs of the business community and provide innovative solutions.

Here's what you need to know about the new programs.

AMBASSADORS

The Ambassadors program was created to leverage active Chamber Investors to accomplish the Chamber's mission of leading, convening and mobilizing the business community to drive regional economic growth. Essentially, Ambassadors will serve as an extension of the Chamber team! Ambassadors will be engaged in these three key areas:

  • Supporting events and programs
  • Welcoming Greenville's newest businesses at ribbon cuttings and business celebrations
  • Expanding the brand by engaging on social media

Investors are already engaging in each of these areas - so why not be rewarded for it! Ambassadors will have access to many benefits, including recognition throughout the year (both at events and through digital promotions), points to attend events for free, swag and a personalized nametag, priority access to Chamber news, a private Facebook group, and more!

You'll join a select group of Chamber advocates to make a difference in the oldest and largest business organization in the Upstate.

To join, attend the Information Session on June 11th and learn more here.

PROPEL GVL

"I wish there was a program out there that taught you how to serve on a board and then connected you with organizations that need board members."

If you've ever had this thought (and we've heard this exact comment!) then PROPEL GVL is for you.

The program is a collaborative effort between the Greenville Chamber and United Way of Greenville County to provide a 5-week board training and executive leadership program. Participants will learn the ins and outs of board service, and at the end of the program will be connected with local organizations in search of new board members.

Applications are due June 21st and the program begins July 16th.

Whether you're looking to join an exclusive group of Chamber champions, or take your leadership to the next level by serving on a board, we have a program for you! If you have questions about either of these new programs, let me know
