I was born in Nashville, Tennessee, however I’ve lived in several states throughout the years. My father is retired Army as well as an Accounting Professor so both of his positions influenced where I lived growing up. I moved to the Spartanburg area from Mobile, Alabama and am now attending school at Converse College. I am a junior double majoring in Accounting and Economics and double minoring in Business Administration and Politics.
When I’m not in the classroom I’m competing as a Track and Field athlete. I grew up playing many sports, but running was the only one that ever seemed to stick. I’m also very passionate about singing, writing poetry, and traveling.
I’m excited to be working as the Chamber’s Spring Business Advocacy Intern. My career goal is to work as a Financial Director for Political Campaigns, so I hope to make many connections and gain more experience in a political and business environment throughout my internship.
