Hi Everyone! I am Randall Davis and I am the Diversity and Inclusion Intern for 2018. I am from Chapel Hill, NC and previously worked at Cisco Systems as a business analyst before heading back to school to pursue my MBA at Clemson University in which I am in my second semester. Prior to Clemson, I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a minor in Mathematics from High Point University. This opportunity to intern under Dr. Nika White and for the Greenville Chamber will help open my eyes to rewarding experiences and will allow me to connect with great people. My goal is to take away valuable lessons and knowledge from this internship, and use that insight to help contribute to the Chamber’s success. I am specifically excited to work with the Minority Business Accelerator (MBA) participants and witness the success they will have from the events and classes they will participate in. I anticipate stepping outside of my comfort zone to give myself more room to grow and learn so that I can use what I will learn here to impact the lives of others I encounter.
My personal interests include investing, sports, music, and art. Although I am from Chapel Hill, I am a huge Duke Basketball fan. Music is a huge part of my life as I listen to all genres (except country music) but mostly appreciate 90’s R&B music. In my leisure time I like to watch horror or crime movies, exercise, and explore art museums and other visual-centric venues to better understand various cultures. So, if you know of any good movies, music artists, or places I should check out please let me know!
I appreciate the opportunity to be an intern with the Chamber and look forward to interacting with as many of you as possible throughout 2018.
