We are excited to announce the launch of Genuinely Z.O.E., a portal to provide women from all walks of life tools for overall health, wellness, professional, social, and economic development. The non-profit women’s empowerment group was recently founded by Greenville-native, Freda Coleman. Z.O.E. stands for “zest for opportunities and empowerment,” which the initiative sparks by offering classes and programs throughout the year with counseling and other opportunities for women ages 25 and up in pursuit of self-discovery. One of the key programs is “Discover Me,”, which meets weekly for 12 weeks and helps participants define their vision and set clear goals for the future. With topics such as “YOU have a voice!” the program offers women a safe place to blossom. Genuinely Z.O.E. also partners with other local agencies in an effort to expand their reach. Nika White, VP of Diversity and Inclusion, will be the keynote speaker at the official Launch Party on May 16th. “I’m excited about the work Genuinely Z.O.E. is doing throughout our community. I know the Chamber’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative has a true partner in Freda Coleman and the Genuinely Z.O.E. team, and I’m eager to see what we can accomplish when we work together,” said White. Tickets for the Launch Party are sold out, but you can learn more about the initiative here. Welcome to Greenville, Genuinely Z.O.E.!
