The Greenville Chamber's leadership has elected local business leader David Lominack, Upstate-Midlands Market President at TD Bank, to chair its Board of Directors in 2016. In 2016, he takes on the highest leadership role for the Greenville Chamber, which with membership over 2400, is the largest organization serving and advocating for businesses in our region.
Lominack will serve as Chair-Elect throughout the next year as Julie Godshall Brown chairs the Chamber’s 2015 board of directors. As Chair-Elect in 2015, he will chair the Chamber’s Board of Advisors, a group of business and organization leaders who meet quarterly to review business community progress and needs, as well as provide planning for a specific Chamber initiative or event.
Current Chair Tim Reed notes, “David brings a wealth of knowledge of the Upstate having served in various capacities with for profit and not for profit boards. He is no stranger to Chamber leadership serving since 2010 as a director, treasurer and currently as Vice Chair of Organizational Excellence. David has been tasked with leading the charge for the Greenville Chamber to become one of the nation’s elite Chambers with an accredited status.”
According to Lominack, “I’ve had the pleasure of serving the Greenville Chamber for a number of years and am honored to serve as Chair in 2016. At 126 years old, the Chamber remains a key voice for our business community as we collectively work to grow, retain and attract world class companies and talent. I look forward to continuing to build on the many successful Chamber initiatives that ultimately enhance the quality of life for all of us in this region.”
